      Hi Bhanu ,

      For each group we will get two times true condition one for the first observation and one for the last observation for that group. that's why for each group we will get two observation.

    Hi,

    I am planning to give the Base SAS exam in around 2 weeks. I am preparing through Little Book of SAS, is it sufficient ? Also, is knowledge of SAS 9.3 mandatory as mentioned on the SAS website ? Are all the questions multiple choice ?

      The basic of C and SAS programming is same like loop , conditional statement but still its a programming language from SAS so you have a give lot of attention and you can find some online sites which are helfull for a SAS fresher to understand the SAS basics.

      All the answers you specified are wrong answers. Let me tell you the reason why;
      You used substr function to create City variable without specifying the length of the variable first, which means (and from SAS 9.2 on Windows POV), your City will be of length 16 by default, adding spaces Post the value. Hence the correct answer is and I am quoting from the tool.
